
Charleston Metals golf outing raises funds for United Way
GARRETT — Charleston Metal Products, along with their employees, customers and vendors, held its sixth annual golf outing in support of the United Way of DeKalb County.
The event took place Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Garrett Country Club. This event raised $5,468 for the United Way of DeKalb County. The team of Rich Castle, Brock Diederich, Mike Morr, Gavin Morr and John Ward took home first place honors with a score of 51. Second place, with a score of 52, was the team of Jeff Greenfield, Isiah Greenfield, Brian Jordan and Ethan Jordan. Contest hole winners included Hunter Clingaman with the longest drive, Chant Phommachanh with the closest to the pin and Dale Koning with the longest putt honors.
