Since joining United Way of DeKalb County in 2015 as a volunteer and becoming Executive Director in April 2o20, Tyler has been instrumental in leading the organization through growth and change, guiding efforts that support local families and individuals in need. His vision and leadership have fostered a culture of collaboration with local businesses, schools, and nonprofits, ensuring that DeKalb County continues to thrive. Under his direction, United Way of DeKalb County has seen measurable progress in addressing critical needs around education, health, and financial stability.
During a recent presentation, Mayor Dave Clark honored Tyler with the Citizen of the Year award, citing his "unwavering dedication to improving the well-being of DeKalb County."
