Kirby has returned to United Way of DeKalb County as the Community Impact Coordinator, starting on September 23, 2024. She is a graduate of Purdue University Fort Wayne, holding a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, with a minor in Psychology. Kirby previously worked with United Way of DeKalb County from 2015 to 2018 in various roles, including Resource Development Coordinator, Community Impact Coordinator, and even served as the Interim Executive Director for a time. With over 10 years of nonprofit experience, five of which have been within the United Way network, Kirby brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role. She is a lifelong resident of Auburn. Kirby is raising her daughter, Harleigh, and son, Ledger, along with their two dogs, Auggie and Sadie, and two cats, Leia and Cali.
