Adiswa is a senior at Purdue University Fort Wayne, where she is pursuing a degree in Human Services with a concentration in Family and Special Needs/Disabilities. She brings experience working in early childhood settings, supporting children with autism, and working with older adults. Through her internship with United Way of DeKalb County, Adiswa is gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, community impact, grantmaking, and community engagement while continuing to explore the many ways Human Services professionals can make a difference.
Adiswa comes from a big family with seven brothers and three sisters! When she isn't working, studying, or interning, she enjoys hiking, baking, and spending time with her friends and family. She also loves spending time with her two dogs, Rusty and Bailey.
We're excited to have Adiswa as part of the United Way of DeKalb County team during her senior year.
