Shannon was hired as the Early Learning Coordinator on August 7, 2024. She has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Western Governors University and spent six years teaching and running early childhood programs in the area. Through her years of education, she has found a passion for advocating for the importance and need for quality early childhood programs and is excited to take on this new role in DeKalb County. Shannon and her husband Jeremy have two children Emmet and Faye, who are strong motivators for her excitement to advocate for quality care. They enjoy exploring the outdoors and taking new adventures.
