Melissa, a lifelong resident of DeKalb County, is President and partner at Star Technology. Actively involved in the community, she has served twice as Board President of United Way of DeKalb County, co-directs Pink Out, and is active with Miss ACD Scholarship opportunity. Melissa serves on committees for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, and Youth for Christ Northern Indiana, serves on the board of Respect Team, and has been a Big for seven years through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana. Melissa has previously served on the boards of the Community Foundation DeKalb County, Waterloo Business Association, and the Crossing Alternative School. Married with two college students, she and her husband, Mike, own 4 Paws of Pheasant Run, breeding English Crème Golden Retrievers for service animals.
